Ecomak Recyclers is a social enterprise whose aim is to address the need for sustainable and affordable alternative construction materials in Uganda and the African continent at large. Our flagship product is polymer engineered bricks derived from recycled plastics.

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve waste management across the refugee settlements and cities, encourage local businesses to a more sustainable lifestyle, and promote a circular economy.

Our upcoming ultimate goal is to be the leading company in Uganda and Africa at large to recycle & transform the locally mass volume of collected waste into finished products. Well, we recycle for generations!

Introducing our Polymer Engineered Bricks

Are you looking for new, unique, and stylish construction bricks to construct your house, our Polymer Engineered Bricks are your best choice.

Advantages of Using Our Plastic Bricks (Manufactured from Waste Plastics)

Durability: They replicate concrete and clay equivalents but outlast them in the application. Our polymer engineered bricks have a life expectancy of over 50 years, with minimal degradation.

Cost-effective: Our polymer engineered bricks are 42% cheaper than conventional bricks and in terms of the "life cost", they are significant cost-saving due to reduced maintenance and replacement requirements.

Zero breakages: Our polymer engineered bricks do not break once used and this implies there are no damages while using our products. You buy 1000 and use 1000.

Termite Resistant: They cannot rot, become dumped (allowing algae growth) and termites cannot feed on them.

Easy to work with: Traditional construction-working tools such as hammers and nails can be used. The products can be cut, drilled, and nailed as easily as conventional bricks.
